Through this Festival, we aim to create a Republic for artists, just as Florence was during the time of the Rennaissance. A place where the masters were sharing their knowledge of art with their young, idealistic colleagues, in a true collaborative osmosis. The Festival Academy is just such a creative environment, where young artists can develop at a rapid pace through direct, day by day interaction with their accomplished colleagues.
The fact that Sibiu is small and facilitates the contact between artists and public, is a great advantage in creating a true „festival family” atmosphere.
